A monument erected by France to commemorate the soldiers who died in World War II was damaged with words against the 'vaccine pass'.



French Veterans Affairs Minister Dareusèc said on Twitter that "the unforgivable" had taken place at the Montvalérian monument on the western outskirts of Paris.




In the photo attached by Minister Dareusek, the words "Anti-Pass" are written large enough to be recognizable from a distance. I posted on Twitter that I would.



In France, you cannot go to restaurants, cafes and theaters without a health certificate stating that you have been vaccinated against COVID-19, and public transport and flights are restricted.



France has one of the highest rates of vaccination in the European Union, with 76% of the population completing the second dose.
