The giant Eid tree, which is adorned with lights and sparkling ornamental balls, shines in the middle of the Global Village in Dubai, in addition to pictures printed from various landmarks around the world, announcing the start of the festive season celebrations for this year.

The Global Village celebrates this season filled with joy and fun experiences until the eighth of January, through a series of distinctive recreational activities that suit all family members.

Last weekend, the global village witnessed the visit of "Santa", after he jumped from the plane using a parachute in a distinctive festive scene, to light the Eid tree and set off fireworks.

Snow fell on the festive walkway, coinciding with the hearing of the song "Let It Snow" throughout the park, which contributed to spreading the atmosphere of joy and happiness among the guests.

In addition, the famous teddy bears dotted around the global village are adorned with Santa hats to add a festive touch to the destination.

Jackie Allenby, Executive Director of Marketing and Events at Global Village, said: “At Global Village, we celebrate diverse cultures from all over the world, so we made sure that guests enjoyed the special atmosphere until January 8th.

We will offer a range of activities that will add an atmosphere of joy.”

From December 15th, guests will be able to purchase Wishes as gifts for their children. The "Arabian Square" fountain area.

And at 11 o'clock every evening, "Santa" will come on his sled, and he will pick up one ball from the fountain and fulfill that lucky boy's wish.

The cost of one ornament ball is five dirhams, the proceeds of which go to charity.

On December 31, the invitation is open to families to celebrate the New Year and enjoy the fireworks from “Around the World”, which the Global Village is famous for every New Year’s Eve.

For the first time, the Russian pavilion will celebrate the holiday according to their own traditions until January 8.
