A couple was indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention this Sunday, in Puy-de-Dôme.
Both aged 47, the man and the woman are suspected of having killed a fifty-something, found dead in an apartment in Thiers on December 5.
The suspects regularly occupied the accommodation but had disappeared after the tragedy.
They were actively wanted and surrendered themselves to the gendarmes last Friday, before being taken into custody, reports
La Montagne
.
The duo take flight
As part of the opening of a judicial investigation, the couple were imprisoned at the end of their passage before the judge of freedoms and detention.
But the investigation around this intentional homicide promises to be complex.
The victim bore signs of beatings and died on the night of December 4 to 5.
The prosecution told our colleagues that "the suspects do not recognize the facts".
