“In the Council of the State Duma, we will discuss the issue of removing this bill from the agenda,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
He noted that the idea to withdraw the bill from consideration was the result of the State Duma's dialogue, taking into account the opinions of residents of the regions and statements of citizens.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that draft laws on QR codes in public places, as well as in some types of transport, are of a framework nature and must be carefully worked out before adoption.
