After the death of a Covid-19 patient who had obtained a false vaccination certificate, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin gave an update this Sunday, December 12 on the fight against this trafficking.

As a result, nearly 400 investigations were opened on suspected networks, some involving health professionals.

Gérald Darmanin specified that the issuers of these false documents risked heavy penalties, but also those who used them.

Medical protocol for a vaccinated person

She had been hospitalized earlier this month for a very serious form, assuring that she had been vaccinated, certificate in hand.

She therefore followed a protocol for a person vaccinated.

But his condition quickly deteriorated, catching the medical team by surprise, which had never seen such a development in a person who had received at least two doses.

Her husband will later admit that his wife had obtained a false document for 200 euros.

Too late for the doctors who could not take care of her in time like an unvaccinated sick person.

In November, a doctor in the Paris region, suspected of having sold 220 false vaccination certificates was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention.
