United States Historic series of tornadoes kills dozens and devastates the US
At least 80 people have died in the state of Kentucky alone as a result of tornadoes that have ravaged the central and southern United States since Friday night, Governor Andy Beshear reported this Sunday.
"The figure will exceed one hundred," he stated on CNN.
He has called the current series of tornadoes "the deadliest" in Kentucky history.
The total death toll in the United States from storms on Friday night and early Saturday is at least 93.

About 110 employees worked there on the Friday night before the end of the year holidays.
Some "40 of them were rescued," Beshear said, without specifying the number of employees who managed to get out on their own.
