Dog training in the evening in various places around Knivsta will increase the presence of adults, increase security and reduce vandalism and disorder.

This through a project that was started in October by Knivsta municipality, the police and Knivsta working dog club.

- It has been very popular, we usually have around 20 people training every time.

Usually we train at the working dog club, but it is good to get out in different places because then we get disturbance training in different environments, says Elsa Brahm at Knivsta Working Dog Club who holds the dog training.

The project will run until February and then be evaluated.

- There are several police officers around the country who have heard about it and are wondering about the project so that they might try the same thing, says Mirjam Hopstadius, municipal police in Knivsta.
