This month, the Expo 2020 Dubai site will turn into a dazzling space full of festive atmosphere, featuring Santa's Grotto, huge decorations, Christmas trees and wonderful performances on the facades of Al Wasl Dome.

Al Wasl dome will be decorated to look like a snow globe, and huge ornaments will hang from its arches.

The plaza will include a 20-meter-high Christmas tree, a Santa's grotto surrounded by a group of jumping dwarves, and a sledge tied with a reindeer.

Huge dolls of Nutcracker soldiers will guide visitors.

An interesting feature during the festivities is a huge mailbox containing “Letters to Santa” in the “Earth Square”, where children can send their wish list to the man in red and get a distinctive stamp on their “Expo 2020” passports.

After Christmas, the mailbox will turn into a "gift-giving" donation box, where visitors can donate gifts to those less fortunate.

For his part, CEO of Entertainment and Events Activities, Tariq Ghosheh, said, "This is the largest event so far at the (Expo 2020) site, and perhaps the largest and longest festive event that Dubai has ever organized."

He added, “There are many elements in the event, from decorations to performances, and from entertainers to Secret Santa.

I invite everyone to visit (Expo 2020) and celebrate with us .. Come and say hello to Santa, and live the festive atmosphere under the dry snow on Al Wasl Dome, as we are already offering everything that suits everyone.”

In addition to the decorations, Al Wasl Square will host the “Expo 2020” entertainment activities for the festive season, as the “Christmas” events in Al Wasl Square present two live shows, in which 70 performers of all ages and around the world participate.

The story revolves around Mrs. Claus and the dwarves, and the difficulty they face in choosing Santa's Christmas gift, through lively songs and dances, the appearance of Santa himself, and even "dry" snow falling from the sky.

For his part, Executive Director of Creative at Artists in Motion, Richard Lindsey:

“Expo concerts will be held on the 25th of this month on the jubilee stage of the British singer, composer and pianist, Joe Stilgo, and the Filipino singer Lea Salonga, who performed the voice of Jasmine in the movie “Aladdin”, and the voice of Fa Mulan in the movie “Mulan”, produced by Disney, and the "London Society Gospel" choir.

More festive carols can also be enjoyed by watching a pop music show “Jungle Bell” in the commute area, or “Exposonix” performing their Christmas songs on the Jubilee stage, the Dubai Millennium Theater, and various areas, while a flying piano will perform festive rhythms in the courtyard. Opportunity suite.

Al Ghaf Street is where visitors will find the daily Christmas parade, as street artists at Expo will also engage in the Christmas atmosphere, while entertainers wear Christmas tree outfits, wooden-legged performers dress in silver bells, and even Expo characters Rashid and Latifa will dress up in Christmas outfits, and "The Rudolph on the Go" dancers also make a surprise appearance, performing acrobatics, dressed in fun reindeer outfits.
