11 December 2021 Tragedy at the

Cremona Circuit 'Angelo Bergamonti'

in San Martino del Lago, in the Cremonese area: the 61-year-old driver Fabrizio Antonuzzi, resident in Manerba del Garda (Brescia), died in a

crash against the protective guard rail of the runway

. He was driving a Porsche Gt3 Rs and the accident occurred around 3.30 pm, while the driver from Brescia was doing some free practice on the track.



The causes and dynamics of the incident are being examined but the images taken by the circuit cameras show the car traveling the straight and finishing the race, without any braking, against the guard-rail.



The

most accredited hypothesis

it is that the driver may have accused an illness or that the car has had a brake failure. It is estimated that at the time of the loss of control of the car Antonuzzi was traveling at a speed of 240 kilometers per hour. 



Two cars from the Carabinieri of the Command of the Solarolo Rainerio and Gussola stations, in the province of Cremona, intervened on the spot, and an ambulance from the Cremona Soccorso that found the 61-year-old lifeless. The soldiers of the Arma took care of the reliefs and the collection of images of the deadly accident and of the testimonies on the tragic end of man.



The man was an entrepreneur who owned a company that designs shops in Nuvolento, in the Brescia area, he was a very experienced and passionate driver. He leaves behind his wife, four children and a brother.
