On the sidelines of the conference, Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, in her capacity as President of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), attended the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Sheraa and the Ministry of Culture and Youth, where the two sides expressed their commitment to work closely to transform the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE into a global center for industries Creative, stressing the importance of encouraging and supporting entrepreneurship and creative industries in the country.

On the occasion of signing the memorandum of understanding, Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi said: “We have accomplished a lot in the Emirate of Sharjah to strengthen our economy within an innovative system that provides opportunities for companies and entrepreneurs to thrive, and to enable them to harness their creativity and visions in shaping the global economy in the future. Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi congratulated the winners of the Sharjah Gate Challenge, an initiative launched by the Sheraa Center with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Youth, to support local startups and provide them with platforms to showcase their creative ideas on a larger scale.

Sheikha Bodour concluded her visit with a tour of the World Conference on Creative Economy, in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Youth, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi.
