China News Service, December 10th. According to the Russian Satellite Network, the Russian Defense Command Center stated that Russian fighter jets were flying over the Black Sea on December 9 with US and French military aircraft trying to approach the Russian border.

  According to the Russian military, on December 9th, Russian radar spotted an air target approaching the Russian border over the neutral waters of the Black Sea.

The Russian Defense Command Center said: "In order to identify air targets and prevent violations of Russian borders, three Su-27 fighters in the formation of air defense on duty in the Southern Military Region took off."

  According to the center, "Russian fighter pilots identified the air targets as two Mirage-2000 and Rafale tactical fighters of the French Air Force, a US Army CL-600 Artemis reconnaissance aircraft, and a US Air Force RC-135. Strategic reconnaissance aircraft, as well as a French Air Force KC-135 tanker, and accompanied them over the Black Sea."

  According to reports, after the foreign military planes turned to leave the Russian borders, the Russian fighter planes returned to the stationed airport.
