The government of the UAE and the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan launched the Uzbek Government Leaders Program, with the aim of qualifying a generation of future government leaders based on the UAE's model of government leadership, in a new initiative within the strategic partnership for government modernization between the two countries.

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Muhammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, confirmed that the strategic partnership with the government of Uzbekistan reflects the visions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for meaningful cooperation to enhance the capabilities of governments and enable them to participate in the future march, and represents a model Distinguished by international cooperation aimed at upgrading governments, enhancing their levels of performance, efficiency and readiness for future challenges, building the capabilities of their cadres on sustainable foundations, and providing them with the skills necessary to lead the new generation of governments.

Al Gergawi said that the two governments were able, within less than three years of signing the strategic partnership, to achieve important achievements in 26 axes of the partnership, which witnessed the completion of 120 initiatives, and the provision of more than 2.5 million hours of training through 130 workshops, benefiting more than 260,000 trainees.

He pointed out that the launch of the Uzbek Government Leaders Program represents an extension of the strategic partnership, and a new step in the efforts of the two governments of the two countries to enhance investment in the human element, enable it to actively participate in efforts to modernize government work, and a promising future success story for the innovative work models developed by the UAE government, which has become a model. Universally applicable.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Sardar Omar Zakov, stressed that the launch of the Uzbek Government Leadership Program, in partnership with the UAE government, represents a new stage in the path of a fruitful and positive strategic partnership in the areas of government modernization.

He said that the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan is keen on building the capabilities of its cadres and enhancing their role in leading various sectors, and actively participating in the industry of the future, due to its belief in their role as an engine of development, development and change.

He pointed out that the experience of the UAE government in building the capabilities of national cadres, and employing and strengthening youth energies, represents a global model in positive investment in people, stressing the keenness of the Government of Uzbekistan to benefit from and build on it, thus contributing to achieving its goals of reaching the optimal investment of the energies, capabilities and skills of its people. .

The Uzbek Government Leadership Program, which was designed and participants selected by taking advantage of the UAE model of government leadership launched by the UAE Government Leaders Program, aims to inform the participants about the most important global changes and trends, enable them to adopt the latest technologies and skills necessary to face global challenges, and introduce them to the best practices in developing Strategies, design policies, manage government performance, and develop leadership and management skills.
