The government writes that it believes that the Gripen and GlobalEye systems would have been a good choice for Finland.
"These two systems are tailored to handle our common security challenges and the special requirements that our common Nordic environment entails," the government writes and continues:
“We obviously respect the Finnish decision.
Our defense cooperation is based on common geostrategic interests and a common view of security challenges. ”
