Female employees are retaliated against after reporting sexual harassment by their boss?

Tesla is again in a "misogynistic" lawsuit

In less than a month, Tesla was again sued by a female employee for improper handling of internal sexual harassment incidents. Both lawsuits accused Tesla of a "hostile working environment" for women in Tesla's US automobile manufacturing plants.

According to a Reuters report on December 10, on the 8th, Tesla assembly line worker Erica Cloud filed a lawsuit in the Alameda County Superior Court in California. She accused her former manager of Multiple defendants "continuously and generally" sexually harassed him.

Claude claimed that her former manager hugged and kneaded her body while making rude and suggestive remarks.

After she reported the relevant misconduct to Tesla's human resources team, Claude stated that she "has been retaliated by other managers of the company."

The lawsuit pointed out that Tesla and the other defendants put Claude in a "hostile work environment for his gender and the sexual harassment of her."

Claude believes that Tesla and the other defendants failed to prevent or correct sexual harassment and subsequent retaliation.

On November 18, another female Tesla worker, Jessica Barraza, filed a lawsuit against Tesla, accusing it of rampant sexual harassment at its main factory in Fremont, California. In addition to the common culture, a series of sexist language and behaviors occur every day. Supervisors and managers are not only aware of inappropriate touching behaviors in the workshop, they are often the perpetrators of these behaviors."
