The government of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has approved changing the system and weekly working hours in the local government apparatus in line with the vision of the UAE and its continuous efforts to keep pace with global developments and trends, and with the aim of enhancing its position on competitiveness indicators in various fields.
The new system of weekly work in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah will be applied to all government agencies, with working days from Monday to Thursday, and half working days on Friday.
According to the decision, the weekend on Saturday, Sunday and Friday becomes half a day, starting from the date of January 1, 2022, provided that the implementation of this decision takes into account the requirements of bodies and bodies whose nature of work requires otherwise..
