"The Moscow District Court issued a ruling on the selection of a preventive measure in the form of house arrest against Elena Streltsova, accused of committing crimes under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code," RIA Novosti quotes the press service of the court.
Streltsova was sent under house arrest for a period until February 7, 2022.
She did not admit her guilt.
Earlier, the court put under arrest the owner of the chain of stores "Rive Gauche" August Meyer.
He is accused of committing crimes under Part 4 of Art.
159 of the Criminal Code of Russia for two episodes.
He is charged with fraud in the amount of 1 billion rubles and more than 1.4 billion rubles.
