The slippery roadway is believed to be the cause of the accident.

Nine people, including eight children, were injured after a school bus accident on Thursday morning in the Côtes-d'Armor.

The bus was carrying 31 people, mostly college students.

The balance sheet shows "nine people in relative urgency", indicates the prefecture of Côtes-d'Armor which confirms that they are only "slightly injured".

According to the gendarmes, the driver was among the injured.

A girl stuck inside the vehicle

The vehicle lay down at the level of the town of Saint-Brandan, south of Saint-Brieuc.

"The first elements seem to indicate a rather slippery road, it is the preferred hypothesis", according to the gendarmes.

The alert was given around 7:40 a.m.

A lot of help was immediately dispatched to the site to take care of the victims.

A girl who had found herself stuck in the vehicle was able to be released by the firefighters, add the gendarmes.

The victims were all taken care of and transported to the Saint-Brieuc hospital center.
