- According to the Swedish Public Health Agency, you have good protection against serious covid-19 already after two doses of vaccine.
Therefore, they say that you do not need to be extra careful while waiting for the effect of the third dose, says Bodil Appelquist.
The Medical Products Agency says, however, that it can take 1-2 weeks before you have full protection of dose number three.
