The city of Frankfurt has banned a corona-critical meeting registered for Saturday.

A demonstration train with subsequent rallies was registered.

At the beginning of the week, the public order office had already banned four registered demonstration trains by the same applicant.

In the justification of the office it is said that at the currently registered meeting, as well as at the demonstrations already banned by the public order office, a collective "non-compliance with any corona protection regulations and corresponding official requirements with a probability bordering on certainty" is to be expected.

Furthermore, the assembly authority assumes that the applicant is "neither willing nor able" to ensure compliance with the hygiene rules, such as wearing mouth and nose protection and compliance with the minimum distances.

Only last Saturday the police had to break up a demonstration in Frankfurt because the conditions had been violated.

180,000 vaccinations for children

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Social Affairs in Hesse announced that more than 180,000 children's vaccination doses had been ordered by doctors, health authorities and clinics. The first deliveries could reach Hessen on Monday. Health Minister Kai Klose (Die Grünen) points out that in view of the low risk of a serious disease course in children, vaccination should always be discussed with the pediatrician responsible. According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, 360,000 doses were inoculated in the past week in Hesse in connection with the vaccination campaign to protect against the corona virus. This week the number of 400,000 vaccinations should be achieved. This vaccinates almost double what was administered each week in the vaccination centers for the wedding in early summer, says Klose.More than three quarters of the vaccinations last week were carried out by the general practitioners.

But company doctors and locally organized special campaigns also help to drive the vaccination campaign forward.

Of the vaccinations last week, 80.5 percent were booster vaccinations, 11.7 percent were first vaccinations, and 7.8 percent were second vaccinations.
