According to him, the value of the seized property is slightly higher than the amount of damage caused, since the seizure of property is necessary not only for compensation for damage, but also for the execution of a penalty in the form of a fine.
He noted that the amount recovered through the courts from Russian corrupt officials has grown six times since the beginning of the year, to 727 million rubles.
Earlier, Igor Krasnov said that a 12.7% increase in corruption crimes detected in Russia over 9 months indicates an increased efficiency of law enforcement officers.
