On the afternoon of December 7, the China Astronaut Research and Training Center held a meeting with reporters for the Shenzhou 12 astronaut crew in Beijing Aerospace City.

This is the first official meeting with the public since the Shenzhou 12 crew returned on September 17.

Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming, and Tang Hongbo are full of spirits and are in good shape.

What are the precious memories of space travel?

What are your plans next?

The reporter had a conversation with three astronauts.

At the meeting with reporters for the Shenzhou 12 astronaut crew on the 7th, the astronaut brigade captain Jing Haipeng introduced the recovery situation and follow-up plans after the crew returned.

According to him, the recovery period after the crew flight returns normally is divided into three phases: isolation recovery phase, recuperation recovery phase, and recovery observation phase.

Up to now, the crew has completed the second phase of work.

On the whole, the astronauts are emotionally stable, mentally in good condition, their weight stabilized at the pre-flight level, muscle strength, endurance, and exercise cardiopulmonary function reserves have been further restored, and the expected results have been achieved.

At present, it has been fully transferred to the recovery observation stage.

After completing the health assessment, the three astronauts will be transferred to normal training.

Maintain the original aspiration of flying, the standard will not drop, the intensity will not be reduced

Question: What is the most memorable thing in the three months of life in space?

What is the biggest difference after performing 3 missions?

Answer: For us, the period of 3 months is very long and very short.

We have verified the key technologies of space station construction and operation, such as long-term astronaut stay in orbit, regeneration and life support, space material replenishment, and exit activities in orbit.

In the meantime, we completed the daily management of the core cabin assembly and a large number of scientific and technical experiments. We also performed two out-of-cabin activities and carried out out-of-cabin operations. Many memories are precious.

For the 3 missions I have performed, there are new feelings and experiences each time. The most direct thing is that the comfort level is continuously improved, the reliability is getting higher and higher, the activity space has become larger, and the space food has become more and more abundant. Have more experience of enjoying life in space.

Behind this is the wisdom and hard work of the vast number of aerospace science and technology workers.

Question: As the first Chinese astronaut to stay in space for more than 100 days, you have entered space three times, served as commander-in-chief twice, and performed space-exit activities. How do you feel?

What are your future plans?

A: So far, I have been fortunate enough to perform three manned missions and have gained a lot of honors and achievements.

Every time I perform a task, I will tell myself that I cannot stop my pace due to heavy achievements and honor, let alone relax my standards and give up pursuit due to age, and turn my achievements into greater motivation and struggle. Passion.

All of our astronauts are dedicated to flying, and all our lives are flying, and I will resume the mission after returning. I will still maintain the original aspiration of flying, return to zero, and devote myself to training. With more new skills, we will always be a fighter and climber of China's aerospace industry in the new era, and we are always ready to go to space for our country again.

  Liu Boming——

Our training is effective and comprehensive

Question: As my country's first astronaut to leave the capsule twice, what is the difference between the two experiences?

Answer: Being able to perform the first manned flight mission of my country's space station construction mission, leading the first, I feel pressured, and it is an honor.

Although we face many unknown challenges, we are confident to complete the task from the beginning because we have conducted comprehensive training on the ground with rigorous scientific systems.

After working and living in space, I believe that our training is effective and comprehensive.

After returning to the ground, we had many in-depth exchanges with engineers and technicians, put forward many opinions and suggestions, and shared our own experience and direct experience with the comrades in the brigade, all of which provided for the organization and implementation of follow-up missions. For reference.

I think this is also the best gift we bring to the astronauts.

During this flight mission, I performed two out-of-cabin activities. Through the coordination of heaven and earth, I successfully completed related missions. I also experienced the wonders of space more closely.

The first time I was out of the cabin, there was more excitement and excitement, and the second time I was more calm and confident.

I believe that the vast space will leave more Chinese figures and footprints.

Q: What is the difference between sleeping on a space station and on Earth?

Answer: Due to gravity, I am used to "tied" to sleep, Nie Haisheng is "floating" to sleep, and Tang Hongbo is "half and half".

I sleep about 8 hours a day, listening to music and writing notes for 20-30 minutes before going to bed.

Only when you get enough sleep can you work smoothly.

  Tang Hongbo——

The beauty of the universe is refreshing and unforgettable

Question: How did you feel about going out of space during the Shenzhou 12 mission?

Answer: The most challenging part of leaving the cabin is actually the preparation process before leaving the cabin.

We have carefully prepared for a week and repeated collaborative tests with the ground to ensure that the outgoing clothing is in good condition without any omissions.

The night before leaving the cabin, I slept very soundly.

With sufficient preparation, the first time out of the cabin was very smooth, which lasted 7 hours and successfully completed the task.

After leaving the cabin, I felt as if I was in a sci-fi blockbuster. The beauty of the universe was refreshing and unforgettable.

Question: As one of the first astronauts to use the Chinese space station, how do you evaluate this "home" and what are your feelings?

Answer: After entering the space station, my first feeling is that it is very big and deep; the second feeling is that the sleeping area is quiet; and the third feeling is that this is a "view room".

When I rest, I can’t wait to pick up my phone and take a picture of the moving scene outside the window.

The most important feeling is that this is our country's space science experiment platform. The experiment opportunities are rare and the operating experience is precious, which makes people feel both interesting and proud.
