A 13-year-old teenager who was riding a bicycle died after being struck by a van this Wednesday in Saint-Jean-de-Braye (Loiret).

The drama happened around 5 p.m.
The van struck the young cyclist at an intersection between a roundabout and avenue du Capitaine Jean, on road D2152.
Investigation for "manslaughter"
The avenue was closed for several hours to allow the police to make the first observations.
The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody at the Orléans police station to be heard about this dramatic accident.
An investigation for "manslaughter" was opened.
