Expectations for this year's Christmas country are high considering last year's turnout.

- We had 400-500 people here per night during the Christmas weekend, says Mathias Ripheden.

In the clip you see him preparing his "Christmas Wonderland".

The elephant takes a seat next to lots of strange Santa Clauses.

The family themselves do not really know how many Christmas decorations they have in the garden, but estimate that there are up to 50 inflatable figures.

There are several new additions for the year, including a large elephant with an elf on its back.

Lack of electricity and space

There is a shortage of space in the garden, but the electricity is also starting to run out.

They are currently at the limit of what the fuses can withstand.

- We have to be careful inside.

We can not have a stove and oven running at the same time because then the fuses go, says Mathias Ripheden.

But the skyrocketing electricity price is not something that Mathias Ripheden is significantly worried about.

The Christmas land is only running between 17 and 21 with regard to both the electricity grid and the neighborhood.

- The electricity bill will probably be a little higher ... but you have to take that, he says.

Emma, Jennie, Mathias and Camilla Ripheden in Nybro have their entire residential plot filled with Christmas decorations.

And over the years, the decorations have only become more numerous.

Now their plot has become a place to visit at Christmas time, something they are proud of.
