On June 17, 44-year-old Mikael was found dead in his apartment.

He was supposed to have support in the home of Gällivare municipality every day, Monday to Thursday, but it took days before he was found dead on the floor by his friends.

According to friends and relatives, the municipality's team was there no later than 7 June.

Incorrect date in the investigation

According to the police incident report, they arrived at Mikael's apartment where he was later found dead on June 17 at 17.14.

Gällivare municipality wrote in its first investigation:

"The undersigned has examined the case after the user has died, there is no malpractice in the case."

That investigation was dated 17 June 15.36, ie one hour and 38 minutes before the police arrived at the apartment.

The social director also claimed in a first interview with SVT Norrbotten that they investigated the matter and did nothing wrong.

Also in an interview on Gällivare municipality's own website on September 28, Annette Viksten Åhl said that "the case is settled".

Metadata, on the other hand, reveals that the file for the investigation itself was created on 27 September 15.36, after the social director said in an interview that they had investigated the matter.
