The Ministry of Internal Affairs proposed to expand the powers to check cartridges for weapons

7 of the Federal Law "On Weapons", empowering the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to conduct expert research and issue an opinion on the compliance of cartridges for civilian and service weapons with forensic requirements, ”reads a letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, which is at the disposal of RIA Novosti.

At the moment, the law does not have a norm according to which cartridges are checked for compliance with forensic requirements.

This gap was proposed to fill in the department.

In November, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law regulating the rules for issuing weapons to employees of the Central Bank, Rosinkas and Sberbank when escorting the transportation of goods and money.
