China News Service, December 8 According to Kyodo News, Japan’s Ground Self-Defense Force demonstrated joint training with the US Marine Corps to the media in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, on the 7th.

  According to reports, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force stated that this is the first joint training based on the new application concept "Expeditionary Forward Base Operations" (EABO).

The concept allocates small-scale troops to the islands and secures attacking strongholds.

At the station considered an outlying island, the missile forces confirmed the cooperation procedures with each other.

  According to the report, in the training demonstration, the first is the C-130J transport aircraft carrying the U.S. Marine Corps high-mobility rocket launcher system "Hamas".   Participants in the joint training include approximately 2,650 members of the US Marine Corps and 1,400 members of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force.

  The training content includes "Haimas" sharing information about attackers with SSM units, shooting from helicopters, and using MV-22 "Osprey" transport aircraft to transport personnel.
