Thus the CEO of Rai Carlo Fuortes comments on the listening result of Verdi's Macbeth which yesterday opened the season of the Teatro alla Scala, broadcast by Rai Cultura indirect on Rai1.

The event, attended by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, was followed by 2 million and 64 thousand people, with a share of 10.5 percent.

It was the seventieth Prima of the Milanese theater.

The debut with Macbeth


The season then debuted with

Macbeth directed by Riccardo Chailly and directed by Davide Livermore

Interpreters, among others, Anna Netrebko and Luca Salsi.

The performance ended with applause from the audience that lasted over 12 minutes.

An ovation also for the

Riccardo Chailly's direction was also very popular, while some doubts about the very modern and innovative direction of Davide Livermore, who in the end received some 'buuu' from the audience, along with applause.
