The resource was added to the Unified Register of Prohibited Information.
“To date, access to the resource is limited,” RIA Novosti is quoted as saying.
According to the regulator, such a decision was made due to the posting of information on the project's website that ensures the operation of means to provide access to illegal content.
It is noted that we are talking about the Tor browser website, which some users used to anonymously access the Internet, including the darknet.
In early September, Roskomnadzor restricted six VPN services in Russia, including ExpressVPN, Nord VPN, and IPVanish VPN, for violating Russian law.
In early December, Roskomnadzor warned of plans to block six more VPN services in Russia.
