At the same time, as noted, the efficiency of women (64%) suffers to a greater extent than men (36%), because they are more often engaged in New Year's preparations.
In addition to preparing for the holiday, among the main reasons that prevent Russians from working in December are the inability to concentrate before a long weekend, the need to congratulate partners or colleagues, a relaxed atmosphere and a general reluctance to conscientiously fulfill their duties in December.
So, 31% of respondents admitted that it is difficult for them to concentrate on work before the New Year - all thoughts are only about long-awaited rest, 18% of employees are forced to spend time on trips and congratulations to partners, another 15% of employees come up with and buy gifts for partners, 13% cannot stop thinking about whether there is enough money for gifts to family and friends, 7% are distracted by colleagues who constantly want to celebrate upcoming events with champagne.
16% of the respondents found it difficult to answer.
At the same time, 11% of respondents would like to completely cancel the celebration of the New Year at the workplace.
A total of 1,978 respondents took part in the survey.
