On October 2, 2020, 25-year-old Wissem Messaoudi was shot dead at a bus stop in Valsta. The district court considered that the evidence against the suspect was strong enough for a conviction. The suspect was sentenced for murder to life in prison, but the Court of Appeal acquitted the suspect of the murder.
