The Israeli occupation forces removed the sit-in tent that lasted for about 6 months in front of the Al-Kurd family home in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem, expelling the solidarity activists, leaving only the residents of the neighborhood threatened with displacement in favor of settlers.
And the Wadi Hilweh Information Center (my rights) said on its official page that "the Israeli occupation police checked the identities of those inside the solidarity tent in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and removed those who were not residents of the neighborhood."
The center added in a statement on Facebook that the occupation forces stationed at the entrances to the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and set up barriers with iron berms there.
Video clips documented the occupation forces and its mechanisms storming the neighborhood, assaulting the protesters, breaking and removing the sit-in tent, and removing the pictures that bore the names of families and units from the walls.

The attack coincides with a demonstration held by the settlers in front of the neighborhood, interspersed with chants calling for death to the Arabs and to avenge them and expel them from their homes.
Eyewitnesses said that the march was organized at the invitation of organizations affiliated with the Israeli far-right.
On a regular basis, the residents of Sheikh Jarrah are subjected to attacks by settlers who live in houses in the neighborhood that were confiscated from Palestinian families during the past years.
On the third of last November, Palestinian families in the neighborhood announced their rejection of a "compromise" offer submitted by the Israeli Supreme Court regarding the evacuation of their homes in favor of settlers.
The court said at the time that if the families and the settlement association did not agree to the settlement, it would decide on the families' petitions against eviction from their homes, without specifying a date.
Since 1956, Palestinian families have resided in their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, according to an agreement at the time with both the Jordanian government and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
Israeli violations against the residents of Jerusalem, especially the people of Sheikh Jarrah, caused a military confrontation between the Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli occupation army, which lasted 11 days last May.
