It has two types, different characteristics, and the same quality as ordinary undergraduates. The vocational undergraduate is included in the existing bachelor degree work system. Bachelor degrees are awarded according to disciplines. The format of the bachelor degree certificate is the same. The characteristics of education and education, highlight professional ability and accomplishment, improve the quality assurance system for bachelor's degree awarded by vocational undergraduates, and promote the high-quality development of vocational undergraduates.
The "Opinions" clarify the policy basis and scope of work for the authorization and award of vocational undergraduate bachelor's degrees, the approval authority for the authorization of vocational undergraduate bachelor's degrees, the basic conditions and granting methods, basic procedures, awarding standards, award types, and bachelor's degree certificates And the degree granting information put forward the request.
In terms of implementation, both general and vocational undergraduates are authorized, awarded, managed and quality monitored in accordance with the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Degrees", "Interim Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Degrees of the People's Republic of China", and "Administrative Measures for the Authorization and Award of Bachelor Degrees"; In terms of the utility of the certificate, the two have the same value and have the same effect in employment, postgraduate entrance examination, and public examination.
The "Opinions" require that each provincial degree committee should strengthen the overall guidance and quality supervision of the vocational undergraduate bachelor's degree awarding unit in the region (system); the vocational bachelor's degree awarding unit should establish relevant regulations and systems for bachelor's degree management and quality assurance. Carry out bachelor's degree awarding work in accordance with laws and regulations, ensure the quality of vocational bachelor's degree awarding, and continuously improve the ability and level of bachelor's degree awarding work.
