Bloomberg Agency quoted a Turkish official as saying that an Emirati military delegation visited Ankara the day before yesterday, Monday, and met with Turkish military officials, and visited the Turkish drone manufacturer, and other military manufacturing companies, including Aselsan.
Ankara and Abu Dhabi signed agreements on investments worth billions of dollars about two weeks ago during the visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to the Turkish capital, and the Turkish president said that the agreements heralded the beginning of a "new era" in relations between the two countries.
The Turkish official said, on condition of anonymity, that the Emirati delegation met on Monday with the Turkish Defense Industries Department.

Demir added, "When we look at the numbers of our defense industries, we see that our relations in the field of defense industries continued even in times of crisis. Turkey said last September that it was in talks with the UAE about energy investments such as electricity generation, and the UAE's sovereign wealth funds have invested heavily in Turkish online grocery marketing company Jeter and Turkish e-commerce platform Trendyol.
During the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's visit to the Turkish capital, the Turkish authorities and their Emirati counterpart announced the establishment of a $10 billion fund to support Emirati investments in Turkey.
