“There are plans to evacuate and deliver 12 crew members of the XING YUAN vessel to the shore,” the ministry’s press service reports.

Rescuers are working at the scene.

Experts will inspect the dry cargo ship and outline a plan for further actions.

It is noted that at the moment no fuel spills have been observed.

None of the crew members were injured.

Earlier it was reported that in the Kholmsk seaport on the coast of Sakhalin a dry cargo ship ran aground with 12 Chinese citizens on board.
