After Marseille and Hauts-de-France, Emmanuel Macron will start a new tour.

The President of the Republic is going to visit three municipalities in the department of Cher to meet the French and learn about their concerns, a few months before the next presidential election.

After Marseille in September, and Hauts-de-France two weeks ago, it's a new "tour" over several days which begins for Emmanuel Macron. The Head of State is going to three towns in the Cher department on Tuesday, before tomorrow to spend the day in Allier, in Moulins, where he will participate in the Council of Ministers by videoconference, then in Vichy. A president on tour whose objective with this trip is to speak to rural and peripheral France.

Indeed, the president wants to go on the ground and show that he is in contact with the French.

And this morning in Vierzon, a city of 25,000 inhabitants, he has planned several hours of wandering in the city center to meet the traders and residents of this small town before going to Bourges.

The Head of State must go to this city of 65,000 inhabitants to discuss with social workers.

Vichy, a highly political issue

Finally, Emmanuel Macron, who has never been elected local, will participate this evening in the municipal council of Châteaumeilland, a town of less than 2,000 inhabitants.

According to one of his advisers, he wants to hear from the French and know what their concerns are.

Listening, but also passing on (political) messages.

Tomorrow, the Head of State will visit Vichy.

A visit that owes nothing to chance, while Eric Zemmour believes that Marshal Pétain protected the French Jews.

The Elysée does not rule out the hypothesis of a silent response from the president, who could stop in front of the plaque honoring the memory of the deported people.

Because, for Emmanuel Macron, each trip is today an opportunity to take his part in the campaign.
