From this Monday, and for three days, an Albanian and his ex-partner will be tried for murder by the Puy-de-Dôme Assize Court in Clermont-Ferrand.
On June 12, 2018, the 26-year-old man allegedly killed a 78-year-old drug trafficker with a hammer in their apartment, reports La Montagne.
His companion at the time allegedly helped him clean up the crime scene and put the body in the trunk of the car where the victim was found.

The couple then left France, before being found several months later.
After having initially denied, the man had recognized his gesture, while claiming to have been threatened by the septuagenarian.
His ex-partner, aged 28, appears free.
She admitted to having been present during the events, but denies her involvement in the murder.
The nature of the link between the accused and the victim as well as the motive of the crime have still not been determined.
