SVT Örebro has talked to several sports associations in socio-economically vulnerable areas.

Many leave consistent information: the financial part of a sport has a great impact on both families and the associations themselves.

Örebro Multibasketklubb, based in Vivalla, is one of them.

- It's expensive with sports!

You have to pay a membership fee, clothes, equipment, ball, cups, says Multibasketklub's coach Malika Bouallala, and continues:

- Many families have several children who want to play sports and then they can not afford to pay for the children's sports.

BK EttFyra from Vivalla in Örebro also talks about how many of their players are having a tough time financially:

- It also affects the association of course, we need to solve it, says the association's founder Daud Awees.

He goes on to say that they tried to get help from other actors by getting assignments.

In this way, families and young people can "work off" the fees, Daud Awees explains.
