In the Haut-Rhin, this Sunday, mountain rescuers have stepped up their interventions.

Fall, discomfort, loss ... They carried out a total of five rescues during the day, reports

A person sledging was injured.

Transported by specialist mountain firefighters to an ambulance, she was then taken to hospital.

A few hours later, accompanied by the Haut-Rhin mountain gendarmerie (PGM) platoon, firefighters rescued a 79-year-old hiker who had fallen.

Hikers in difficulty

In the middle of the afternoon, two walkers had to be rescued by the PGM, because they were stranded on a snowy slope.

They were finally brought back down safely.

A 47-year-old hiker was taken to hospital after becoming unwell.

Finally, the specialized gendarmes helped four walkers find their way back.

For lack of a telephone network, it was by voice that the rescuers guided the hikers to the main road, where they were recovered unharmed.
