Johnson expressed readiness to use diplomacy against Russian aggression against Ukraine

According to RIA Novosti, the heads of state "stressed the need to create a united front in the face of Russian threats."

"The leaders called on Russia to de-escalate tensions and reaffirmed their firm support for Ukraine's territorial integrity," Johnson said in a statement.

The message states that the heads of state agreed to speak again on December 7 after Biden's conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, the leaders of the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Italy and France discussed the relationship between Russia and Ukraine and called for the resumption of negotiations in the Normandy format.
