06 December 2021 The bill for the compulsory vaccination in Austria takes shape, which will come into force in February: the no vaxes will receive an invitation every three months from the ministry of health to be immunized.

In the event of non-compliance, a fine of 600 euros is triggered each time, which becomes a super-fine of 3,600 euros for those who do not pay it within the established terms.

Children under the age of 14, pregnant women, those who have recovered for less than 180 days and other people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons are exempt from the obligation. Women who have given birth and boys who turn 14 have one month to receive the first dose.

The draft law was viewed by Austrian TV Orf.

The vaccination obligation, which would apply from February, includes a first vaccination, a second vaccination (at the earliest 14 and at the latest 42 days after the first vaccination) and a third vaccination (at the earliest 120 and at the latest 270 days after pre-vaccination).

According to the bill, vaccines from Biontech and Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson will be recognized.

The text provides that the money raised through the sanctions is directed to local hospitals.
