On December 4, local time, when a Southwest Airlines passenger plane was taxiing to the parking lot after landing at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona, a man on board suddenly "jumped" and was subsequently arrested.

According to reports, the police said that the plane flew from Colorado Springs to Phoenix on the same day.

When taxiing after landing, the man named Ramirez suddenly opened the rear door of the plane and jumped off the taxiing plane.

The firefighters said that Ramirez then entered the airport fire station, walked into a room and locked himself in it.

Subsequently, the firefighters successfully let Ramirez open the room and inspected him, and then sent him to a nearby medical institution to treat his injured calf.

Southwest Airlines officials said that the captain informed the police of Ramirez's situation and added that the crew and passengers could arrive at the designated boarding gate smoothly.

The Phoenix Police Department stated that Ramirez was arrested on suspicion of trespassing that night.

Currently, Ramirez faces two felony charges of trespass related to this incident.

According to the report, Ramirez’s family said that he went to Colorado for a job, but he wanted to go home because he was worried about his life, and said he might have schizophrenia due to his family history.
