When I first saw Ayideng Turxunbek, he had just returned from the highland training front line. His original fair skin was "smeared" by strong ultraviolet rays and turned into plateau red.

At 1.88 meters tall, he is even more tall and handsome in camouflage uniforms.

However, when he took off his military cap, the thinning hair was not what he should have at this age. He said this was the "most handsome mark" gifted by the plateau.

In a recent drill, he took the lead in the charge, with minor injuries. It was not until the end of the mission that the military doctor discovered that his right wrist was fractured, multiple tendons were injured, and his shoulders and backs had long been blackened... At the forefront of actual combat training, he would 23 scars are regarded as "Medal of Honor".

Ai Deng is the captain of the special technical team of a special operations brigade in the Xinjiang Military Region.

In the 13 years since he enlisted in the army, he has become a special warfare soldier from a national defense chief, and has won many awards for meritorious service.

He said: "As a member of the ethnic minority special forces, it is necessary to charge forward when the party and the people need it most."

Practicing the spirit of Kazakh warriors with actions

Ai Deng was born in a Kazakh family in Xinjiang.

Inspired by the party's concern, 26 party members and 9 military personnel came out of the family one after another. Uncle Awu Baikri was the first batch of ethnic minority pilots in the motherland.

Under the influence of family members, the seeds of loving the party and the army took root in Ai Deng's heart.

Once the seeds of dreams are sown, they will eventually germinate.

He quietly engraved the motto of "Serving the country with loyalty and iron horse" on the desk.

At the end of the college entrance examination, Ayi Deng was successfully admitted to Xinjiang University as a national defense student majoring in English, fulfilling his military dream.

After arriving in the army, Ayideng learned by chance that a certain special forces brigade was distributing "hero posts."

The special forces brigade not only has many tasks, but also conducts actual combat training.

This made Ayi Deng's blood boiled immediately, and the next day he submitted an application for transfer.

Soon after, Ayi Dengping was transferred to the special forces brigade and embarked on a special forces journey.

In July of the following year, Ayideng signed up to participate in the 7 Days and Nights Hell Devil Week extreme training organized by the military region.

In the first elimination assessment, he was accidentally comatose in the quagmire. After waking up, he did some nursing and insisted on returning to the arena to complete the remaining assessment subjects.

After the extreme training, Ayideng was sent to the hospital again with a wound.

Ai Deng practiced a saying often said by Kazakhs with his actions: "Strong will and unyielding spirit are the closest comrades of warriors."

In 2017, due to his outstanding work performance, Ayi Deng was promoted from the Zheng company position to the captain of the brigade's special technical team.

From a combatant to a commander, Ai Deng dreamed of turning his soldiers into an elite special warfare force.

He made up his mind: aim at the future and bring the whole team to upgrade their skills.

Let the combat capability of the whole team achieve a leap

"In the future, the requirements for accuracy will be more prominent in combat. It cannot be overridden in combat planning. We must deal with issues such as when, where, under what conditions, what forces to use, what methods are used, what guarantees are needed, and who will organize and command. Make it clear, everyone must think deeply, and write a teaching plan that meets the requirements of modern warfare." Third-ranking sergeant chief Li Dingbo still remembers this speech made by Ayi Deng at a conference.

What impressed Li Dingbo most was that Ayideng not only checked the teaching plan verbatim, but also organized everyone to confront and verify the feasibility.

Under the guidance of Ai Deng, the phenomenon of "a lesson plan used for three years and one trick to eat all over the sky" slowly disappeared. Instead, professional backbones combined with the development law of modern warfare to drill down and develop the winning mechanism. The overall combat capability of the team has achieved a qualitative improvement.

After several years of practice, Ayideng and the teachers of the Army Special Operations Academy jointly compiled the book "Basic Skills of Joint Special Operations", which has been listed as a guidebook for the training syllabus of special forces of the army; it is difficult to organize field survival under desert terrain conditions. Da, Ai Deng combined the experience of participating in various levels of competitions and daily training experience, delved into the army's field survival training skills, sorted out a set of realistic and feasible training methods, and promoted it throughout the brigade.

The comrades in arms believe that the Kazakh people admire the eagle, and Ayideng is the "Tianshan eagle" who fights against the wind and snow and fights the sky.
