The use of forged or other persons' vaccination certificates is classified by the police as forgery of documents and misuse of documents.

The crimes can result in a fine or imprisonment for a maximum of six months in a conviction, and the principle is according to the police to compare with that which applies when using false ID documents.

At 10 o'clock on Sunday morning, the police were able to provide information on three cases where people are suspected of misusing documents after the party weekend.

Two of them occurred in Malmö, where two people were denied entry to various nightclubs after they tried to use other people's vaccination certificates.

The third occurred in Linköping on Saturday night when two men in their 20s tried to enter a nightclub in the center.

- One is suspected of having then tried to use the friend's vaccination certificate.

The other was also suspected of misuse of documents, but then by lending his to the first, says Dennis Johansson Strömberg, the police spokesman in the East region.

"Very stupid thing to do"

However, the crime does not seem to have been very extensive.

In other regions, police spokespersons did not note any similar cases during the weekend.

- I have not noticed it at all in our region, but it feels like a very stupid thing to do.

The only person who gets infected is yourself, says Petra Blomqvist in the Central region.

According to several regions, however, reports could appear at a later stage, but that established cases in the pub queues would have gone under the police's radar is considered unlikely.

- If a security guard notices that it occurs, my absolute picture is that we get to know about it.

It is a crime and security guards who discover crime contact the police, says Jimmy Nordin, press spokesperson in the South region.

A security guard was attacked with a post

In several places, the police testify that riots arose as a result of the requirement for a vaccination certificate.

On Friday, three people in Trollhättan threatened to shoot a security guard after they were denied entry due to lack of vaccination evidence.

The guard must also have had a pole thrown at him, according to the police.

Quarrels also arose in connection with at least one of the cases in Malmö, but in the case registered in the East region, things went more smoothly.

- It may have been a bit verbal fuss with entrance hosts or security guards.

They are often the ones who take the first blow, says Dennis Johansson Strömberg in the East region.
