It is noted that the leaders discussed the details of preparations for the Russia-Africa summit, interaction within the BRICS and issues of trade and economic cooperation.

Earlier it became known that Putin and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan during telephone conversations discussed the situation in Ukraine, Transcaucasia, Syria and Libya and the bilateral agenda.
