The LR candidate who will represent the party for the 2022 presidential election is the president of the Ile-de-France region, Valérie Pécresse.
The latter won the last stage of the LR congress against Eric Ciotti, with 60.95% of the vote against 39.05%.
After two months of pre-campaign, the LR candidate for the presidential election elected by the members of the party is Valérie Pécresse with 60.95% of the votes.
This last stage of the LR congress marks the home stretch before the 2022 poll. It was opposed to Eric Ciotti, credited with 39.05% of the vote.
