His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, yesterday received, at Al Shati Palace, the Minister of External Affairs of the friendly Republic of India, Dr. Subramnyam Jay Shankar.

During the meeting, His Highness welcomed the visit of the Indian Minister of External Affairs, who conveyed to His Highness the congratulations of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, on the occasion of the UAE's celebrations of its golden jubilee, and his wishes for the state and its people further progress and prosperity, and for the relations between the two countries further development and advancement.

While His Highness conveyed his greetings to the Prime Minister of India, and his wishes for further development and growth for his friendly country and people, he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for his congratulations on the UAE's national joys.

His Highness and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India discussed aspects of cooperation and joint action that consolidates the strategic partnership between the UAE and India, and achieves their common interests and aspirations of their two friendly peoples.
