For the seventh year in a row, light installations are offered around central Norrköping.

This year, more than 40 lighting installations will be shown during December and January.

Some of the works have been included in previous years, but there are several newcomers as well.

A new creation is "Spinning Jenny", a tribute to the city's textile history created by Ivan Wahren, born and raised in Norrköping:

- I did my first light installation here in Norrköping when I was 15 years old and had to take care of the light at the Little Theater, that was where the love of light arose.

For the past ten years, he has worked all over the world with lighting arrangements and in recent years, there have been increasingly large lighting installations in cities such as the one now built on Campus Norrköping, the university building by the stream.

There he got the chance to pay tribute to his ancestors.

Hear him talk about the work in the feature above.
