Book Fair: crowds at the Lingotto, long queues at the entrances

04 December 2021 The Minister of Culture, Dario Franceschini, inaugurated this morning the twentieth edition of 'Più libri più libero', the fair of small and medium publishing, which is held inside the Cloud of Eur until Wednesday 8 December.
"Today is a day of celebration. For many years we have talked about declining figures compared to other countries, while today we are seeing growth in sales and readers. 'More Freer Books' can celebrate this recovery," said the minister of Culture.
"The state has done its part by supporting the book sector during the pandemic with important measures, such as the introduction of the App18 or two emergency funds of 30 million euros for bookstores - recalled Franceschini - Like all crises, this also leaves something positive because the Italians have come closer to reading ".
