From under the dome of Al-Wasl at Expo 2020 Dubai, a Japanese family revealed to "Emirates Today", that it changed its vacation plan, in order to witness historical moments and important occasions in the UAE, namely the celebrations of the fiftieth Union Day, which attracted a large number of visitors to Global Exhibition Attendance Events, organized throughout the event.

The Japanese family, who has resided in Dubai for three years, described what the UAE is achieving is impressive at a time when many countries are suffering from the repercussions of the pandemic of the emerging "Corona" virus and the new mutated "Omicron".

The small family includes: Father Masaya Suzuki, mother Waka Suzuki, and two sons Yuya and Kita.

Masaya, who works in a company in Dubai, said: “We wanted to take advantage of the holiday for the fiftieth anniversary celebrations by going to one of the tourist resorts within the country, but my wife suggested that we go to visit (Expo Dubai) again, after we visited for the first time. Last month".

He added, "We decided to change the plan that we set in advance for the holiday, and we chose to go to the international exhibition and follow these exceptional historical moments experienced by the UAE, and we, for our part, are proud to be at the heart of the event."

Masaya continued: “We are from Osaka, Japan, which will host the next edition of (Expo) in 2025, and there is no doubt that we are very lucky that we have been living in Dubai for three years, and that we got the opportunity to attend (Expo 2020), while we certainly plan from now to attend (Expo) in Osaka.

For her part, Waka Suzuki congratulated the UAE on this historic occasion, adding: "After our arrival at the (Dubai Expo), my husband was convinced that my idea was great, especially since the atmosphere inside the World Expo is indescribable, and I think we would have lost a lot if we had not taken this The decision is to witness the splendor and beauty of the UAE’s historic celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the union.”

Waka continued: “We visited (Expo 2020 Dubai) last November, but we were not able to visit all the pavilions, and the most prominent pavilions we toured were: Japan, the United States of America and Bahrain, while we were unable to visit the UAE pavilion due to the great demand for the pavilion, but we We came the second time and our main objective is to visit this pavilion and witness the wonderful celebrations of the 50th year.”

She expressed her great happiness with living in Dubai: “I think we are very lucky to live in the UAE, a country that receives all nationalities and different cultures, which made us not feel alienated at all, especially since we have many friendships with members of the Japanese community here, along with many nationalities. other.”

And the Japanese wife added: “The feeling of security and happiness cannot be described in terms of the state’s confrontation here with the repercussions of the (Corona) pandemic, as we came to (Expo 2020) and we did not feel fear or the great turnout from visitors to the World Exhibition, because we are confident and certain that there is an organization Wonderful and a great commitment to precautionary measures and matters related to social distancing, which we have already found, so I thank the UAE and its people, and we wish them further progress and advancement.”
