The Ukraine conflict has been going on since 2014 when Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula and a war broke out in the eastern parts of the country, where regions have broken away with Russian support.
Recently, both Ukraine and the United States have warned that Russia, which has deployed more than 100,000 troops on the Ukrainian border, is soon planning a new invasion of the neighboring country.
According to Oscar Jonsson, a researcher in Russian warfare, the military build-up indicates that Russia is serious about the threats.
